We have represented numerous professionals in disciplinary and licensing proceedings before the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, the Board of Registration in Medicine, Board of Registration in Chiropractic, as well as other administrative agencies. We also counsel many professionals regarding the rules and regulations applicable to their professions, even where no formal proceedings are pending. We are acutely sensitive to the high stakes involved in professional licensing proceedings, and the impact it can have on an individual's personal, business, financial and family circumstances. Our work includes assisting clients in the early pre-complaint stages in an effort to avoid the filing of formal charges, as well as representation after such proceedings are instituted. We have a significant practice representing attorneys before the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers. Our work includes negotiating pre-hearing dispositions, representing attorneys in disciplinary hearings and reinstatement proceedings, and general counseling of attorneys on matters arising under the disciplinary rules and Cannons of Ethics of the Supreme Judicial Court.
